Taking into consideration Ayurvedic principals of time of day and season, we will use posture, breathwork and meditation in this class to provide all the right elements to start your day. Sun salutations, the use of Vinyasa (synchronized breath and movement) and alignment of the physical body are key practices that will encourage both new and tenured students to personalize and support the ever evolving nature of their own development.

This restorative class provides a counterbalance to any dynamic practice or flow within one’s lifestyle. Guiding the student to see the wholistic qualities of yoga for a sustainable practice while learning from using quality over depth.

This class uses a systematic sequence of postures set to the rhythm of Vinyasa (the synchronization of breath and movement) where the student has the time and space to merge body, breath, and mind.
A must have in any yoga practice, this moving meditation allows you to harness and retain the natural healing abilities of the breath, develop alignment of the physical body, and find comfort in our most expanded self both on and off the mat.

A Katonah Yoga® class that teaches you how to frame up the body through patterns of fits and personal measures. This practice is based around folding the body to fit oneself, giving rise to better communication and contact within the self and with others.
Katonah Yoga® is informative and explorative, using metaphors, maps, geometry, and Chinese medicine theory to create a trajectory for the student.
This is a workshop style class giving space and time for a dynamic beginning and a restorative ending, allowing students to experience and explore the most basic polarity of effort and grace.

Class Etiquette and Studio Policies

We are located on the 4th floor of the Sheppard Block building on Whyte Avenue. Please use the front entrance and access the space via the elevator or stairs.
Please be mindful of the level of your voice at all times as our space is open concept.
Remove all footwear when you arrive and enjoy the Coat Room for outerwear storage during your visit.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes early for your class and checking in at the reception area.
Respect your fellow practitioners and teacher by being on your mat by the start of class. Entry doors are locked before class start and at that time entry will no longer be possible.
There is additional storage in the change area for your personal belongings.
Please turn off or mute your cell phone and smart watches before the class starts. Store with your personal belongings in the Coat or Change Room areas.
Prop Options: you can bring your own, purchase from our on sale quantities, or select from our in house props with a clean and return at the end of class policy.
During class please follow along with your teacher. Options will be provided for varying levels of students and if you need rest take childs pose or svasana.
Please respect allergies and sensitivities to scent. During your visit refrain from the use of perfume, cologne, or heavily scented products.
If you are sick please stay home to support your recovery and to keep everyone strong and healthy.

Please be mindful of Zoom etiquette. Mute your MIC, have your camera on so your teacher can provide personalized guidance and if you have questions use the chat function pre or post class.
We recommend joining 5-10 minutes early so you are prepared and your teacher can welcome you.
Be in a comfortable setting with the items you need to support your practice including props.
During class please follow along with your teacher. Options will be provided for varying levels of students, and if you need rest take childs pose or svasana.

Payments
Book and Continue to Payment allows you to reserve your spot and add your Membership/Class Pass Code or pay online by card.
Book Class allows you to reserve your spot and pay with Cash or Card In Studio before class starts. When choosing this option please be mindful to arrive with enough time to accommodate the payment.
On sale merchandise can be purchased In Studio with cash or card. All merchandise is final sale.
Cancellations
For daily In Studio or Livestream Classes please provide a minimum of 2 hours for cancellations.
Private 1:1 Classes require 24hrs notice to cancel.
For events, pre registered, workshops or trainings please provide 1 Week notice for cancellations.
No shows to any classes or appointments will not be eligible for a credit or refund.

Paid Parking
Meter parking at E Park lots 5010 and 5013 are conveniently located across the street on Gateway Blvd. or behind the building. E Park Meters are also available along both sides of Whyte Avenue. For easy payment at any of these meters use the Hot Spot App
Free Parking
Neighbouring streets for free parking can be found at 83rd & 84th ave east of 102 street, and 83rd ave west of 105th street.

Studio Hours
In addition to our daily classes, the studio may be in operation for 1:1’s, pre registered classes, events, trainings or regular business operation. We recommend that you either have a booked appointment or call first to ensure someone is available to welcome you in and assist with your needs.
Calls will not be answered during class times.
We are open as follows for daily classes:
Monday - Thursday: 8-11am, 5-9pm
Friday: 8-11am and 6-9pm
Saturday: 9-2:00pm
Sunday 9-12:00, and 4-7pm
Studio Rental
Outside of our scheduled classes our space is available to rent for event classes, workshops or trainings.
